The #AnakAnakMalaysia Walk 2019 in Eco Terraces

PULAU PINANG: Eco World Development Group Berhad (EcoWorld Malaysia) and Star Media Group’s #AnakAnakMalaysia Walk is as back again with walks in Klang Valley, Johor and Penang – all on National Day. In Penang, the #AnakAnakMalaysia Walk takes place in the EcoWorld Malaysia’s maiden development in Penang – the beautiful 12.8-acre Eco Terraces project in Paya Terubong.

More than 1,000 people joined the refreshing morning hike to the scenic Nan Shan Hill, nearby Eco Terraces. The 5km route was a lively one with lots to do and see along the way. There were several rest stops offering refreshments along the route and upon returning to the EcoWorld Gallery, participants were able to redeem a special gift. Participants at the event were also treated to celebratory performances, food trucks and lucky draw prizes worth more than RM10,000.

EcoWorld Malaysia deputy president and deputy chief executive officer Dato’ S. Rajoo flagged off the walk. Rajoo said that the walk is a testament of Malaysia’s unique spirit of unity. “We have so many Malaysians from diverse backgrounds, proudly wearing the #AnakAnakMalaysia wristbands to walk together for the love of our country. I hope that this spirit of togetherness continues to live on in our hearts, especially that of the youth – who are our nation’s future,” he said.

This year’s #AnakAnakMalaysia campaign theme is #BetterMeBetterMalaysia, which relays a simple message that a better Malaysia begins with each person, embracing change and doing their best.

In keeping up with the celebratory tone, EcoWorld Malaysia also took the opportunity to launch the Care Hub services at Eco Terraces today. Since its launch in 2015, this freehold project has set new benchmarks in Penang for condominium living. It has an amazing 70% of the land dedicated to undulating green terraces and with the launch of the Care Hub, Eco Terraces is Penang’s first multi-generational wellness residence.

EcoWorld Malaysia divisional general manager Chan Soo How said that “The Care Hub is at the heart of Eco Terraces — a home where you and your family will be taken good care of. We offer 24/7 nurse-on-call services as well as a care manager to provide personalised care service to residents.” Eco Terraces also has a special collaboration with Welling Pharmacy where its residents can enjoy privileges and offers.

Eco Terraces is an amenity-rich development, and centrally located on Penang island. The recently completed 333-unit development has several exciting elements. The Lawn is an outdoor landscaped park with putting green; The Commune has an outdoor BBQ plaza, children’s playground and an exclusive clubhouse offering space for indoor sporting activities and gatherings and Life Space is a dedicated centre providing activities for residence on weekly basis. Visit Eco Terraces today to discover the best of wellness living, contact 012 – 439 9255 to explore further.

An ongoing event that will be fun for the whole family would be the world’s largest B.Duck inflatable playground in EcoWorld Malaysia’s Eco Horizon township in Batu Kawan. The event ends on Malaysia Day, 16 September 2019 and is open to the public on weekends (Friday to Sunday) and public holidays from 10 am to 8 pm.
