SHAH ALAM: Eco World Development Group Berhad (EcoWorld Malaysia) has entered into a strategic collaboration with MAPLEHOME, Malaysia’s largest short-term stay management company, to provide hassle-free property management and maximise returns for EcoWorld customers.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was inked today for two key projects: Luna and Se.Ruma. This MoU was signed by Dato’ Ho Kwee Hong, Divisional General Manager of EcoWorld Malaysia and Danny Hor, Founder and Managing Director of MAPLEHOME at Eco Ardence Sales Gallery.

Commenting on the partnership, Dato’ Ho said that it enhances the value proposition for EcoWorld customers and renters while expanding EcoWorld’s market reach.

“We were seeking a short-term stay management company to manage both projects, as we believe this would be an effective marketing tool and a value-added service, giving our customers another compelling reason to purchase EcoWorld properties. MAPLEHOME’s reputation and track record aligned perfectly with our requirements,” said Ho.

Established in 2018, MAPLEHOME manages over 2,100 rooms across Kuala Lumpur, Shah Alam, Klang, Genting Highlands, Melaka, Johor Bahru, and Kota Kinabalu. MAPLEHOME provides end-to-end property management services to property owners, from furnishing the unit after vacant possession to managing short-term rentals, in-house cleaning, and maintenance.

On the two projects involved in this collaboration, Luna in Eco Ardence and Se.Ruma in Eco Sanctuary, Ho said: “These unique residences cater to investors looking for strong rental potential, homeowners wanting to rent out extra units while maintaining privacy and security, and multigenerational families where elderly parents can live with their children while maintaining independence. Luna comprises 425 units of 3-key serviced apartment and 150 units of one-bedroom serviced apartment. Luna is the first in Setia Alam to have a 3-key serviced apartment concept and enjoys easy access to facilities at Maya Square. These include a drive-thru, shops and an education center, bringing greater convenience to the owners and tenants. Additionally, this project also shares club facilities with Maya Square and Maya Offices which include a swimming pool, gymnasium, playground and more.
