EcoWorld Malaysia wows market with its Design-Nature-Art (DNA) campaign

After weeks of intense build-up in social media with a series of teaser videos carrying the #waitforit hashtag, Eco World Development Group Berhad (EcoWorld Malaysia) finally unveiled 5 new projects today under the EcoWorld Design-Nature-Art (DNA) campaign.

Three of the projects are maiden launches – these are Eco Horizon in Penang; Eco Forest in Southern Klang Valley and Eco Business Park V in Northern Klang Valley, while the other two are new phases within the Group’s existing townships namely Dremien @ Eco Ardence in Shah Alam and Whitten @ Eco Majestic City in Semenyih.

President & CEO of EcoWorld Malaysia Dato’ Chang Khim Wah said the Group was excited to showcase all five projects which exemplify the Group’s commitment to embed elements of Design, Nature & Art holistically into all its developments.

“From the very outset at EcoWorld we have worked hard to create truly special developments which our buyers will be proud to own and will stand the test of time. This has created a distinctive look and feel for every project that we undertake, from our majestic grand entrance statements, signature roundabouts, emblematic fencing, landscaped waterways, parks and gazebos as well as our artistic project markers. Although we express the various components differently at each development, taken as a whole they are clearly recognisable as EcoWorld Signature features and commonly referred to as the EcoWorld DNA.

This year’s EcoWorld Design-Nature-Art (DNA) campaign is inspired by our team’s resolve to take our pledge of weaving and embedding the best elements of Design, Nature & Art into all our developments to bring it to another level. We are confident that the 5 projects launched today represent the best of everything we have introduced to the market to-date,” said Chang.

Sharing a little more about the EcoWorld DNA campaign, Chang elaborated on how the five projects have incorporated elements of Design, Nature & Art in ways which redefine living, business and leisure.

• Eco Horizon

“We are thrilled to have an increased presence up North in Penang with the launch of Eco Horizon in Batu Kawan. Not only does this project bring the EcoWorld brand to the mainland but it is a distillation of our best concepts to create something truly unique that Batu Kawan has not seen before. In our journey to offer the finest living and lifestyle experience, Eco Horizon affords us the opportunity to showcase our garden homes design to the people of Penang. These beautiful terraced homes offer a semi-D feel thanks to its wider built up and we believe that this is the future of terraced housing moving forward,” shared Chang.

The Design-Nature-Art element is further expressed at Eco Horizon by the pair of Flamingo shaped lakes forming a unique attraction to greet residents and visitors after the grand entrance way. Chang said the specially created lakes were inspired by the natural terrain of the lands which have been visited by the birds before. The lakes will take up a total of 13.6 acres, and is one of the largest water bodies offered in a Penang development.

The 300-acre Eco Horizon is EcoWorld’s largest project on the mainland and the first gated and guarded landed residential development in the Batu Kawan corridor. Surrounded by thriving industrial parks and a growing population catchment, the project enjoys excellent connectivity and is easily accessible via the North-South Highway and the second Penang Bridge. Existing and future amenities nearby include IKEA, the Penang Designer Village and educational institutions such as University of Hull & KDU.

Phase 1 of Eco Horizon comprises 2-storey landed homes with three different layouts of 22 x 75, 25 x 75 and 30 x 60. Built-ups start from 2,290 sq ft to 2,601 sq ft with pricing from RM800,000 onwards.

 Eco Business Park V

Making an entry into the Klang Valley market is EcoWorld’s innovative business park series. Eco Business Park V (EBP V), a 518-acre industrial hub is located next to the Group’s Eco Grandeur township with excellent connectivity afforded by the LATAR Expressway and the upcoming West-Coast Expressway located nearby. EBP V will introduce the concept of gated and guarded green industrial parks to the Klang Valley to emulate the success of the Group’s Eco Business Parks situated in Iskandar Malaysia.

The stylish façade of the units creates a favourable first impression, which is reinforced by an innovative flexi-space concept that makes the spacious interior easily customisable. The cluster and semi-D factories offered will also feature EcoWorld’s one-stop industrial solution – a range of professional services specially created for customers to ensure a hasslefree experience when setting up business operations.

“We see EBP V as the catalyst for the transformation of this part of Selangor as the state’s new industrial hub. It is an important component of EcoWorld’s larger master plan to create an integrated and sustainable environment,” said Chang.

The first launch of EBP V includes 60 x 130 Cluster Factories priced from RM1.88 million and 80 x 200 Semi-D Factories priced from RM3.29 million.

• Eco Forest

The 515-acre Eco Forest is EcoWorld’s second project in the Semenyih corridor and it truly embodies the EcoWorld DNA. Chang said that based on the wonderful response received for the Group’s garden homes design which was first introduced in 2016, Eco Forest has adopted the same, but with an artistic twist. The design of the houses is based on the Aframe concept that offer a fresh take on how terraces can look in an environment that
embraces its natural surroundings.

“The homes remind one of camping in the great outdoors but with all the modern facilities and amenities attached. We have also included eye-catching sculptures in and around the Central Park of the development that are not only great meeting points but wonderful spots for conversation starters and photo opportunities,” Chang shared.

Following through EcoWorld’s commitment to green spaces, 25 acres of the development is dedicated for the Forest Lake Park – a public space which comprises a dedicated path of 3 meters and 4.5 meters for walking & cycling, which is purposefully and strategically located in the heart of Eco Forest to make it easily accessible from all directions. It is also adjacent to commercial developments which provide a variety of commercial opportunities.

The first launch of Eco Forest includes 6 types of Artisan Homes and 3 types of Garden Homes. Artisan Homes consists of well-designed 20 x 65, 20 x 70 and 22 x 70 terraced homes while Garden Homes offers the unique 30 x 62 wide-frontage design. Phase 1, called Ebonylane offers units with built ups of 1,865 sq ft onwards and prices starting from RM598,000.

• Whitten @ Eco Majestic City

Consisting of 2-storey shop offices with an elegant Georgian-inspired facade, Whitten @ Eco Majestic City offers the rare opportunity to own commercial property in this exciting new commercial hub.

The freehold shop offices come with individual title and have a 24ft-wide frontage. Builtups of intermediate units are 24 x 80 with pricing starting from RM1.97 million. The carefully conceived design allows for the ground floor to accommodate a mezzanine level whilst floor plans are also easily customisable.

Whitten is conveniently located at Eco Majestic City, the commercial hub of the 1,089-acre Eco Majestic which is just next to the Eco Majestic Interchange. The commercial hub also enjoys access to the expansive 20-acre Majestic Park and a lifestyle sports complex and convention hall.

• Dremien @ Eco Ardence

Dremien is the second phase of luxurious landed homes within the 533-acre freehold Eco Ardence. The masterfully-crafted eco township reflects modern tropical design elements and depicts the developer’s enthusiasm and passion to re-imagine Shah Alam as a suburban city of Art, Culture & Commerce.

Each precinct in Eco Ardence will have an individual guardhouse and clubhouse facilities. Residents also get to enjoy a grand 70ft Boulevard Garden apart from wide 20ft to 30ft backlane gardens plus a 1.7km jogging & cycling track.

Dremien comprises garden homes, semi-Ds and bungalows. Prices for the garden homes start from RM1.4 million while semi-Ds and bungalows are from RM1.6 million and RM2.4 million respectively.

The EcoWorld DNA campaign continues the Group’s time honoured tradition of holding concurrent mega-launches of its various projects. Last year in September, the EcoWorld’s Firsts Campaign saw a cumulative total value of more than RM1 billion of products launched with an overall take-up of over 80% and more than 1,000 units snapped up over the launch weekend across the four projects.

Chang said: “Based on the highly positive feedback received to date, the strong support from our own customers and the many new registrants for every project, we are confident that we will be able to match the feat achieved last year. Detailed sales numbers including the total value of units sold by each of the 5 projects launched today will be released when we announce our results for FY2017. This is to ensure that all SPAs with our buyers have been signed with loans approved.”
