PUNCAK ALAM: Eco World Development Group Berhad (EcoWorld Malaysia)’s largest green business park, Eco Business Park V (EBP 5) continues to be a favourite among industrialists with strong occupancy rates of over 85% for the 723.7-acre park.
EcoWorld Malaysia President and CEO, Dato’ Chang Khim Wah said that the industrial properties segment was a very important one for the Group. In the first 4-months of financial year 2023, industrial properties brought in the highest sales for EcoWorld Malaysia with RM616 million recorded.
“Since its launch in 2017, EBP 5 has managed to achieve total sales of RM1.18 billion (as at 28 February 2023), which is a remarkable milestone. The Central Gate phase, which was introduced during the pandemic in December 2021 has managed to record impressive sales of over RM246.16 million (as at 28 February 2023),” he said.
EBP 5 held a grand signing ceremony today for the sale of industrial land lots to EB Frozen Food Sdn Bhd (7 acres) in the West Gate phase and TTL Sales & Rental Sdn Bhd (4.7 acres) in Central Gate. The event also saw the signing for the sales of 21 factory units from Central Gate’s new launch. Sizes for the cluster and semi-detached factories range from 60’x100′ to 70’x200′, with prices from RM2.2 million.
The event held at the EcoWorld Gallery @ Eco Grandeur, was also attended by EcoWorld Malaysia Divisional General Manager, Ho Kwee Hong; EB Frozen Food Chairman & Founder, Ang Chin Hooi; TTL Sales & Rental CEO, Eric Tan and EBP 5 Central Gate new unit owners.
Chang added that EcoWorld Malaysia is committed to making EBP 5 one the best industrial parks in the country with even more modern, efficient and sustainable designs offered. The project’s next launch would be the 92-acre South Gate phase, which is set to offer bigger units with more options for customisation.
