SHAH ALAM: Eco Ardence has reached another milestone with the grand opening of its new sales gallery, show village as well as its pop-up lifestyle hub – Ardence Labs today.
The RM8.58 billion eco-township was launched in September 2016 and is a joint venture between Eco World Development Group Berhad (EcoWorld Malaysia) and Cascara Sdn Bhd (Cascara). The 533-acre freehold development is inspired by modern tropical design elements and is positioned as the re-imagination of Shah Alam as a suburban city of Art, Culture & Commerce.
Located just before Setia Alam, the new sales gallery consists of 2-storeys and has a built-up area of 24,000 sq ft. It boasts an event hall, gourmet kitchen, an office, amenities, landscaping and an open-air carpark.
Visitors got to view the eight show units which showcases variations of double storey homes from Eco Ardence’s latest launch – Dremien, a landed strata gated & guarded parcel offering 259 residential units with built-ups ranging from 2,401 sqft to 4,550 sqft. The Semi-Ds and Garden Homes are 34’ x 80’ and 32’ x 70’ respectively with three variations for the Bungalows – 50’ x 80’, 50’ x 90’and 56’ x 90’. Prices start from RM1.5 million.
“We have strategically built our show village to be directly opposite our sales gallery for a smoother customer experience as everything is within walking distance. We are excited to have the show village ready for viewing and this will give our customers a better look at what we have to offer,” said President & CEO of EcoWorld Malaysia, Dato’ Chang Khim Wah.
The Dremien precinct is approximately 41 acres and boasts a dedicated clubhouse which includes a Gym Room, Swimming Pool, Children Pool, Steam Room, BBQ Pits, Entertainment Room, as well as a Multipurpose Court. Scheduled for completion by end of 2020, residents will also be able to enjoy up to 30 feet of linear back lane gardens.
Following the successful tenant unveiling last year, the 27-acre pop-up lifestyle hub called Ardence Labs has added vibrancy to the township since 27 brands begun operations since the opening.
Visitors also had an opportunity to visit the exciting mix of tenants which include anchor tenant Jaya Grocer; Cocomomo Urban Pets Hotel; Plant Cartridge – which promotes food sustainability through easy urban farming at home as well as community building at their glass greenhouses; the football academy Eco Ardence Academy and Ardence Arena which consists of two Fifa-standard football fields.
Other tenants at Ardence Labs include Wespo Mini, Masterclean, Healthlane, i1 Fitness, Cykel & Cyclist and Famous Kleener as well as unique F&B outlets like Heritage Nyonya, Tato Tato, Piacevole, Mich’sology, Tealive, Llao llao, U-Mai, AROI Mak Mak, U Bistro, Laughing Monkey, Kebab Bowl, Let’s Joy Café, Hinata Café, Big Blind, Bamboo Biryani and Chaiwalla & Co.
Liew Tian Xiong, Divisional General Manager of Eco Ardence said: “Ardence Labs was developed with the objective that both residents and visitors can have a different lifestyle option as compared the conventional ones that we are used to.
We wanted a unique place with a unique tenant mix, which is why we made a conscious effort to approach Malaysian entrepreneurs who are new and upcoming so that they are able to use this opportunity as a platform to elevate themselves in the retail and F&B market as well. Our goal is to ensure a finely-tuned mix of tenants in Ardence Labs, carefully curated to showcase the unique brand personality as well as signature lifestyle of Eco Ardence.”
The concept of Ardence Labs revolutionises the idea of space by utilising refurbished containers which enables customised spaces for growing retail and F&B brands or co-working spaces for start-ups to realise their blueprints and business plans. Business owners can enjoy the flexibility of customisation as each Lab can be tailored to suit a specific demographic without losing its identity.
“Response for Eco Ardence has been very encouraging as it is an ideal township for upgraders. We see a huge potential for this market from surrounding matured developments such as Klang, Setia Alam and Subang Jaya and we are very confident that the township will continue to garner interest from the public especially with Ardence Labs now open,” said Nadziff Bustari, Director of Cascara Sdn Bhd.
On Wednesday 18 April, the left-in slip road connecting Persiaran Setia Damai and Eco Ardence was also officially opened by Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia. The slip road will not only direct traffic to Ardence Labs but also serves as an alternative route to disperse traffic during peak hours along the Link Lebuhraya Baru Lembah Klang – Meru. Travelling time during peak hours is estimated to be reduced by 30 minutes with the alternative route fully operational.
Chang added: “We believe that accessibility is key and we have been investing to ensure that the connectivity, infrastructure and amenities are all in place before we welcome our first batch of residents. We expect the slip road to benefit not only our residents but the community and businesses in surrounding areas as well.”
Eco Ardence is strategically located with access via four major highways – the New Klang Valley Expressway, Federal Highway, ELITE Highway and the Guthrie Corridor. Via these highways, Eco Ardence is just 11km to Klang, 16km to Subang Jaya, 18km to Petaling Jaya, 24km to Damansara, 30km to Kuala Lumpur and 52km to KLIA.
