The #AnakAnakMalaysia Walk 2018 made its way to Penang on Malaysia Day with a 5km walk held at Eco Horizon. The 4,000-strong crowd of participants were flagged off by Y.B Chow Kon Yeow, Penang’s Chief Minister alongside Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye, Chairman of the #AnakAnakMalaysia Organising Committee.
This is the third and final #AAM walk following a hugely successful turnout in the Klang Valley that took place on 2 September at Eco Ardence, Shah Alam as well as in Johore on 8 September at Eco Tropics, Pasir Gudang.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Eco Horizon sponsored approximately 45 orphans from the Salvation Army Home and St Joseph’s Home to join the meaningful walk as well.
Participants were delighted to find a twist in the route this year as the first 3km of the route took its path along the buzzing Batu Kawan Industrial Park and continued in the compounds of the Eco Horizon township where they found nine different pit-stops with fun obstacles that kept their spirits high.
The 300-acre Eco Horizon has a gross development value of RM7 billion and is strategically situated just off the primary interchange linking the Second Penang Bridge to the North-South Highway with prominent landmarks in the immediate vicinity such as the Batu Kawan Stadium, Batu Kawan Industrial Park and several educational institutions.
It is also the first gated and guarded landed residential development for EcoWorld Development Group Berhad (EcoWorld Malaysia) in the Batu Kawan corridor and it features the classic DNA of an EcoWorld development. Residents and visitors alike are greeted by a signature master roundabout when entering the development before passing through a grand entranceway.
Its maiden launch, the Ashton precinct, comprises 704 residential units with built-ups ranging from 2,290 sq ft to 2,601 sq ft. The 2-storey terraces are 22ft x 70ft, superlink homes are 25ft x 75ft and garden homes are 30ft x 60ft with prices starting from RM888,000. The Group is set to launch its second phase – the Brydon precinct, which consists of semidees and bungalows soon.
To be a part of the Eco Horizon community, check out the Group’s latest ownership assistance programme called Help2Own which runs for a limited time only. For more information on the available packages, please call +604 – 227 2255 or visit the EcoWorld Gallery @ Eco Horizon. #OnlyEcoWorld
Following the meaningful walk, the crowd were entertained by the EcoWorld Choir and Team EcoWorld singing the #AnakAnakMalaysia song while the EcoWorld Symphony Drummers also showcased a rousing performance with the lively crowd following every drum beat. Participants also got to enjoy an array of delicacies with various food trucks after they completed the walk.
The fun-filled day drew to a close with several lucky draw winners walking away with prizes courtesy of CSH Electrical Group, Klook Tours, Primer Kenrich and EcoWorld Malaysia. The Grand Prize lucky draw winner won the latest Samsung Note 9 mobile phone with other lucky draw prizes such as a Samsung washer, microwave and many more.
