This year’s theme, #JomKeHadapan, advocates for a progressive and forward-thinking nation built on the foundations of empowerment, hope and creativity. The walk saw participants of all ages enthusiastically going through mini obstacle courses held along the route revolving around the theme which kept the 4km walk interesting.

Participants were also delighted to find a number of giant #AnakAnakMalaysia wristband and pins structures constructed along the scenic route which provided the perfect backdrop for photos.

The walk saw the likes of Datuk Jimmy Choo, Christy Ng, Keith Kee and other #AnakAnakMalaysia influencers such as Datuk Santokh Singh and Datuk Soh Chin Aun, former national footballers; Agilan Thani, Malaysian MMA fighter; as well as Zylane Lee and Gan Hua Wei, national synchronised swimmers and SEA Games gold medalists.

Following the meaningful walk, the crowd were entertained by the EcoWorld Choir and Team EcoWorld singing the #AnakAnakMalaysia song while the EcoWorld Symphony Drummers also showcased a rousing performance with the lively crowd following every drum beat.

The fun-filled day drew to a close with several lucky draw winners walking away with prizes, thanks to the #AnakAnakMalaysia Walk sponsors.
