PUNCAK ALAM: It was a momentous occasion for 987 settlers under Rancangan Revolusi Hijau Peringkat II & III today when they received their certificates of entitlement from YAB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, Menteri Besar of Selangor.

The significant event was held at EcoWorld Gallery @ Eco Grandeur with more than 1,500 people attending, made up of settlers under the program and their family members.

Prejt marked a new beginning for 987 families under the programme.

“It has been a long wait for some families to own their dream home,” he said.

Under the programme, EcoWorld will build 987 2-storey terraced homes on 80 acres located in Eco Grandeur. The newest township development for EcoWorld in the Klang Valley, Eco Grandeur is a 1,400-acre leasehold project that will be developed in tandem with Eco Business Park V – EcoWorld’s first gated & guarded green business park in the Klang Valley. The combined gross development value of both projects is RM15 billion.

The township will be self-contained with exciting commercial components and important amenities such as entertainment multiplex; wellness centre; hotel; convention centre; office towers; serviced apartments; retail podium; shop offices and education centres.

Commenting on EcoWorld’s role under Rancangan Revolusi Hijau, Chang explained that EcoWorld was brought in as the “white knight” to deliver what was promised to the settlers.

“It has not been an easy journey to arrive to this day. There were many historical hurdles to overcome but we are grateful for the cooperation from all parties including the state authorities, settlers and land owners that have made today possible. All this would also not have been achievable without the unwavering support of YAB Dato’ Menteri Besar and hard work put in by everyone to make this happen,” said Chang.
