KUALA LUMPUR: Bukit Bintang City Centre (BBCC) was filled with festive energy as TUAH 1895, Kuala Lumpur’s newest dining and lifestyle hub, officially opened its doors. The former BBCC Sales Gallery situated along Jalan Hang Tuah has been transformed into a must-visit destination, and the grand opening celebrated food and community.
The opening of TUAH 1895 aligns with BBCC’s vision of becoming a dynamic urban hub. “TUAH 1895 is more than just a place to dine,” said Sri Ram Sivasambu, CEO of BBCC Development Sdn Bhd. “It is a space where people come together to enjoy exceptional food, connect with one another, and experience the vibrant energy of Kuala Lumpur. This opening is a significant milestone as BBCC continues to redefine urban living and lifestyle.”
“With every new addition, BBCC evolves and grows to becoming a lifestyle destination,” Sri Ram added. “TUAH 1895 plays a key role in this journey, bringing people together to create memories in the heart of the city.”
The ceremony featured a lively lion dance performance and a Muhibbah cultural act, showcasing Malaysia’s rich diversity and unity. Shareholders of BBCC – UDA Holdings Bhd (UDA), Eco World Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld), and the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) – unveiled the TUAH 1895 logo, marking the official launch of this exciting new spot.
The event was attended by UDA chairman Tan Sri Mohd Annuar Zaini; EcoWorld executive chairman, Tan Sri Liew Kee Sin and EPF chief operating officer, Sazaliza Zainuddin. Representatives from all eight TUAH 1895 tenants were also present to commemorate the occasion.
A dazzling LED arch showcased the logos of TUAH 1895’s eight tenants, highlighting the curated mix of culinary and lifestyle experiences available to locals and tourists alike. Tenants include: the world-renowned Ministry of Crab, AS I AM — a new brand by Thailand’s celebrated Chef Ton — alongside beloved homegrown names like Ting Shan, Chef Kecik, Pak Tok, and Hock Kee Kopitiam. TUAH 1895 also features a chillout venue: Crafty’s Bar & Lounge, and a lifestyle gym and Malaysia’s largest HYROX training ground – MORPH by Kamileon.
Strategically located along Jalan Hang Tuah and adjacent to LaLaport Mall, TUAH 1895 spans 45,000 sq ft of dynamic space across two levels, including a stunning fountain plaza, a mezzanine floor, and basement parking for added convenience. Whether it’s business lunches, family outings, or fitness sessions, TUAH 1895 offers something for everyone.
Beyond TUAH 1895, BBCC continues to elevate its offerings with The Labs, a creative and entertainment hub that has already established itself as a space for innovation and live experiences. BBCC will soon unveil immersify KL in February, a multi-dimensional media art gallery designed to captivate visitors with immersive and interactive experiences. Together, these highlights further solidify BBCC as the ultimate location for urban culture and lifestyle.
