This Privacy Notice outlines how Eco World Development Group Berhad, its subsidiaries, related corporations, associated companies, affiliates and joint venture companies as well as their representatives (collectively, “EcoWorld”) collect, use, disclose and process your Personal Data in respect of transactions with EcoWorld.
For the purpose of this Privacy Notice, the terms “we”, “our” and “us” shall refer to any company or representative within EcoWorld and the terms “you” and “your” shall refer to yourself and/or such other persons or companies represented by you of which you are providing Personal Data.
In this Privacy Notice, “Personal Data”, “collect”, “use”, “disclose” and “process” shall have the same meanings as defined in the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 [Act 709] (“PDPA”) (as may be amended from time to time) and its corresponding regulations, standards, guidelines, notices and/or practices issued thereunder.
Such Personal Data which you may provide or make available to EcoWorld include information concerning your personal details (such as name, identity card number, passport number, date of birth, age, gender, race, nationality), contact details and any other relevant information that you have disclosed to EcoWorld depending on the nature of dealings or transactions (as may be updated from time to time).
In the course of your dealings with EcoWorld, you may have furnished your Personal Data to EcoWorld and in doing so, you acknowledge and confirm that you are providing to us accurate, complete, not misleading and up-to-date Personal Data and further agree and consent to EcoWorld collecting, using, disclosing, processing and retaining your Personal Data. EcoWorld, its officers and/or employees shall not be liable for any inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or not up-to-date Personal Data provided by you.

4. when you make payment related to any transaction with EcoWorld;
5. when you / your representatives communicate with EcoWorld’s employees;
6. when you visit our premises in person, e.g. sales galleries, offices or show units, through security or CCTV recordings;
7. from your personalised preference through the use of EcoWorld’s website, social media accounts, mobile platforms operated or managed by EcoWorld;
8. when you participate in EcoWorld’s contests, events, market research and surveys;
9. from information obtained independently by EcoWorld from other lawful sources; and
10. other purposes where you have provided us with information.
EcoWorld may collect, use, disclose, process and retain your Personal Data for the following purposes:
1. considering and processing your application for and providing you with products and/or services of EcoWorld as well as products and/or services by third party service providers provided through EcoWorld;
2. facilitating, implementing and/or formalising any transaction with EcoWorld;

9. conducting credit / trade checks and other background checks on you and where applicable, any Relevant Persons with any registered credit reporting agency at any time for the purpose of processing a transaction with EcoWorld or for as long as any dues remain unpaid and outstanding with EcoWorld;
10. for the purpose of credit evaluation, review or reporting and carrying out debt-collection or assisting other institutions to do so;
11. prevention and detection of crime including without limitation to money laundering, terrorism and fraud prevention, detection and prosecution;
12. required by government authoritis or otherwise in compliance with laws, rules, regulations, by-laws, orders, guidelines and/or directives issued by the relevant authorities;
13. enforcing EcoWorld’s legal rights and/or obtaining legal advice;
14. facilitating any transaction with EcoWorld, which may include opening of utility accounts, registering ownership, and managing and maintaining of common property;
15. facilitating business transactions which may include mergers, acquisitions or asset sales;
16. compliance with internal policies and procedures, including without limitation, risk management, product planning, insurance, audit and other administrative purposes;
17. for all ancillary purposes relating to the provision of facilities including the provision of computer, telecommunications and technology services;
18. human resource applications; and/or
19. any other incidental purpose relating to any of the above or any transaction with EcoWorld.

*Where you have consented to receiving Marketing Information and/or sharing your Personal Data with third parties for the purpose of Marketing Information, you may opt-out of receiving such Marketing Information or sharing of your Personal Data with third parties for the aforesaid purpose by contacting EcoWorld in accordance with Section 15.

For the purposes as set out in Section 9, your Personal Data may/will be disclosed to the following parties:
1. any company or representative within EcoWorld;
2. EcoWorld’s third party service providers or agents (including without limitation auditors, lawyers, consultants, insurers, adjusters and utility companies);
3. any registered credit reporting agencies under the Credit Reporting Agency Act 2010 [Act 710];
4. EcoWorld’s business partners, professional advisers, investors, assignees or transferees to facilitate business asset transactions (including without limitation to any merger, acquisition or asset sale);
5. any law enforcement agencies;
6. any governmental authorities or regulatory bodies; and
7. any other party authorised and consented by you.
EcoWorld may disclose your Personal Data to any or all of the parties stated above which may be located within or outside of Malaysia or involve sending your Personal Data to a location outside of Malaysia.

In the event we are unable to comply with your data access request or data correction request, we will inform you accordingly by written notice.

4. apabila anda membuat pembayaran yang berkaitan dengan sebarang transaksi dengan EcoWorld;
5. apabila anda / wakil anda berkomunikasi dengan pekerja EcoWorld;
6. apabila anda mengunjungi premis kami, cth. galeri jualan, pejabat, atau unit pameran, melalui sekuriti atau rakaman CCTV;
7. melalui pilihan peribadi anda semasa melayari laman web EcoWorld, akaun media social, platform mudah alih yang dikendalikan atau diuruskan oleh EcoWorld;
8. apabila anda menyertai peraduan, acara, penyelidikan pasaran dan kajiselidik EcoWorld;
9. daripada maklumat yang diperoleh oleh EcoWorld secara persendirian daripada sumber-sumber yang sah; dan
10. tujuan lain di mana anda telah bekalkan maklumat kepada kami.
EcoWorld boleh mengumpul, mengguna, mendedahkan, memproses dan menyimpan Data Peribadi anda untuk tujuan berikut:

  5. memudahcara program kesetiaan pelanggan EcoWorld, acara dan aktiviti perhubungan pelanggan;
  6. mengemas kini Data Peribadi anda;
  7. memudahcara penyertaan anda dalam peraduan dan acara EcoWorld;
  8. menjalankan penyelidikan dan tinjauan pasaran dengan tujuan untuk menambah baik produk dan/atau perkhidmatan EcoWorld;
  9. *menghantar maklumat pemasaran, pengiklanan dan promosi tentang produk/perkhidmatan lain yang mungkin ditawarkan oleh EcoWorld, rakan kongsi perniagaannya atau pembekal perkhidmatan pihak ketiga (“Maklumat Pemasaran”) kepada anda, melalui pos ke alamat anda dan/atau penghantaran elektronik ke alamat e-mel anda, mesej teks (SMS/MMS), panggilan telefon dan/atau sistem pemesejan telefon lain ke nombor telefon anda;
  10. menjalankan semakan kredit/perdagangan dan semakan latar belakang lain ke atas anda dan jika berkenaan, mana-mana Orang Berkenaan dengan mana-mana agensi pelaporan kredit berdaftar pada bila-bila masa untuk tujuan memproses sebarang transaksi dengan EcoWorld atau selagi terdapat apa-apa tunggakan dengan EcoWorld;
  11. untuk tujuan penilaian kredit, semakan atau pelaporan dan menjalankan kutipan hutang atau dalam membantu institusi lain berbuat demikian;
  12. pencegahan dan pengesanan jenayah termasuk, tanpa terhad kepada pengubahan wang haram, pencegahan keganasan dan penipuan, pengesanan dan pendakwaan;
  13. dikehendaki oleh pihak berkuasa Kerajaan atau untuk menurut undang- undang, peraturan, peraturan, undang-undang kecil, perintah, garis panduan dan/atau arahan yang dikeluarkan oleh pihak berkuasa berkenaan;
  14. menguatkuasakan hak undang-undang EcoWorld dan/atau mendapatkan nasihat undang-undang;
  15. memudahcara sebarang transaksi dengan EcoWorld, mungkin termasuk pembukaan akaun utiliti, mendaftarkan pemilikan, mengurus dan menyenggara harta Bersama;
  16. memudahcara transaksi perniagaan termasuk penggabungan, pemerolehan atau penjualan aset;
  17. pematuhan kepada dasar dan prosedur dalaman termasuk, tanpa terhad kepada pengurusan risiko, perancangan produk, insurans, audit dan tujuan pentadbiran lain;
  18. untuk semua tujuan sampingan yang berkaitan dengan penyediaan kemudahan termasuk penyediaan perkhidmatan komputer, telekomunikasi dan teknologi;
  19. aplikasi sumber manusia; dan/atau
  20. sebarang tujuan sampingan lain yang berkaitan dengan mana-mana perkara di atas atau sebarang transaksi dengan EcoWorld.
*Jika anda telah bersetuju untuk menerima Maklumat Pemasaran dan/atau berkongsi Data Peribadi anda dengan pihak ketiga untuk tujuan Maklumat Pemasaran, anda boleh menarik diri daripada menerima Maklumat Pemasaran tersebut atau perkongsian Data Peribadi anda dengan pihak ketiga untuk tujuan yang disebutkan di atas dengan menghubungi EcoWorld mengikut Seksyen 15.
Untuk tujuan seperti yang dinyatakan dalam Seksyen 9, Data Peribadi anda mungkin/akan didedahkan kepada pihak berikut:
1. mana-mana syarikat atau wakil dalam EcoWorld;
2. pembekal perkhidmatan atau ejen pihak ketiga EcoWorld (termasuk tanpa terhad kepada juruaudit, peguam, perunding, penanggung insurans, penyelaras dan syarikat utiliti);
3. mana-mana agensi pelaporan kredit berdaftar di bawah Akta Agensi Pelaporan Kredit 2010 [Akta 710];
4. rakan kongsi perniagaan, penasihat professional, pelabur, penerima serah hak atau penerima pindahan EcoWorld untuk memudahcara transaksi aset perniagaan (termasuk tanpa terhad kepada sebarang penggabungan, pemerolehan atau penjualan aset);
5. mana-mana agensi penguatkuasaan undang-undang;
6. mana-mana pihak berkuasa kerajaan atau badan pengawalseliaan; dan
7. mana-mana pihak lain yang dibenarkan dan dipersetujui oleh anda.
EcoWorld mungkin mendedahkan Data Peribadi anda kepada mana-mana atau semua pihak yang dinyatakan di atas yang mungkin berada di dalam atau di luar Malaysia atau melibatkan penghantaran Data Peribadi anda ke lokasi di luar Malaysia.
EcoWorld mengambil langkah pencegahan, dari kedua-dua segi pentadbiran dan teknikal, untuk melindungi Data Peribadi anda daripada kehilangan, pencurian, penyalahgunaan, akses tanpa kebenaran, pendedahan, penggunaan, pengubahan atau kemusnahan.
