ECO MAJESTIC OPENS POLIS BANTUAN OFFICE & UNVEILS GRAND PREMIER OF MERRYDALE
SEMENYIH: Eco World Development Group Berhad (EcoWorld Malaysia) opened its first Polis Bantuan office in its Eco Majestic township today.
The ceremony was officiated by YDH ACP Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof, Ketua Polis Daerah Kajang.
Located at the two-storey shop lot commercial development – Ivoris, the office is also the first auxiliary police office operating at a conventional shop lot instead of the usual stand-alone booths.
The 1,559 sq ft office consists of an Inspector room, a meeting room, enquiry counters, pantry, surau, locker area as well as several workstations which will be utilised by the team of Polis Bantuan EcoWorld in charge of Eco Majestic and neighbouring township Eco Forest.
Polis Bantuan EcoWorld is the main security force of the Group, established with the purpose of delivering high value security service to instil confidence and maintain a safe environment for residents.
President & CEO of EcoWorld Malaysia Dato’ Chang Khim Wah said that the auxiliary police force are custodians on promoting the Safe City concept in all EcoWorld townships.
“All our Polis Bantuan EcoWorld personnel are trained by Polis Di Raja Malaysia (PDRM) through various aspects such as law enforcement, communication, and collaboration which has enabled them to effectively carry out their duties. With the office up and running, residents and the surrounding communities can easily get assistance from our auxiliary police,” he added.
The auxiliary police office acts as a one stop centre with the following functions as well:
- Routine & Emergency calls
- Administrative duty / Administering First Aid
- Containment and preservation of crime scene as directed
- Identifying victim/witness and the extent of damage when incidents occur
- Documenting evidence / report / filing
- A centre for PDRM to gather / gain information
- Temporary holding area for criminals / suspects before handing them over to PDRM
The office opening was followed shortly by the grand premier of Eco Majestic’s Merrydale precinct. Comprising 586 units of Istana inspired two-storey terrace homes, Merrydale offers four different types with built-ups ranging from 2,173 sq ft to 2,683 sq ft.
“This is the fourth handing over we have done for Eco Majestic and we are very excited to see the community grow. EWRC is set up to provide home support services for all residences developed by EcoWorld and is entrusted with the responsibility of managing & maintaining EcoWorld developments.
The Merrydale precinct also boasts a 3.7-acre imperial garden with a playground surrounded by a beautifully designed garden maze and a chandelier water feature.
The Unifi-ready homes enjoy up to 20 feet of linear back garden and side lane gardens with a 2,400-meter jogging and cycling path connecting the entire precinct seamlessly.
“At EcoWorld, we strongly believe in community building and creating a sustainable community and hence all our developments are purposefully equipped with common areas as a platform for residents to connect and come together. Such spaces consist of the Central Park, Linear Park and Ceremonial Plaza as well as jogging & bicycle routes along the precinct to promote healthy living,” added Chang.
Since the launch of Eco Majestic in 2014, the Group has continuously worked towards improving not only the infrastructure of the township but its amenities as well with the relocation SJK (C) Ton Fah at Beranang to Eco Majestic announced in January this year.
Other initiatives for the 1,089-acre development include the opening of a dedicated LEKAS-Eco Majestic Interchange in October 2016 providing additional entry and exit points to the township via the East Gate (through Jalan Semenyih), North Gate (Exit 2012) and West Gate (Exit 2102A) from the Lekas Highway. Another RM165 million was also spent on improving existing infrastructure and construction of new road networks into the township.
On the commercial front, the 150 acres commercial precinct called Eco Majestic City is nicely taking shape where 24’ x 80’ 2-storey shop offices called Whitten with prices starting from RM1.93mil onwards was recently launched. The precinct includes the 20-acre Eco Majestic Park, a sports complex and convention centre which takes up 12 acres. An exciting new retail street is also being planned - all these amenities are targeted for completion in year 2020 and 2021, which will further add to the vibrancy of Eco Majestic.
