EcoWorld Launches Rumah SelangorKu Homes in Eco Majestic
SEMENYIH: Eco World Development Group Berhad (EcoWorld) launched its first affordable homes in Eco Majestic today under the state government’s Rumah SelangorKu initiative.
The ground breaking ceremony was officiated by YAB Tuan Mohamed Azmin Ali, Dato’ Menteri Besar Selangor. The event also marked the opening of registration of interest for the public who qualify under the scheme.
The 1,073.1-acre Eco Majestic township in Semenyih is EcoWorld’s first landed residential and largest development project in Selangor.
Tan Sri Liew Kee Sin, Chairman of Eco World Development Group Berhad said the Group was proud and delighted to be part of the Selangor Government’s initiative to ensure that homes are affordable and attainable for all in the State.
“At EcoWorld, community building is an important aspect of our business and we strive to live up to our mission of Being a Caring and Responsible Organisation which actively contributes back to Society,” said Liew.
Called Simfoni, EcoWorld’s Rumah SelangorKu offers 870 ‘Type B’ units priced at RM100,000 with a built-up of 750 sq ft. Units are housed in three 11-storey blocks on a 10.93-acre freehold plot in Precinct 4 of Eco Majestic.
Eco Majestic is known for its colonial straits-era style designs and in keeping up with this theme, Simfoni will also include elements of colonial architecture.
“The facade will incorporate clean lines enhanced by classical mouldings for a prestigious look and the team has taken great care to ensure that Simfoni will be a home that its residents will love and be proud of,” said Dato’ Chang Khim Wah, President & CEO.
With a GDV of RM11.14 billion, Eco Majestic is planned with over 100 acres of green and open spaces along with a sizeable 150-acre commercial precinct. Since its launch in May 2014, EcoWorld has been actively engaging the community through various events and efforts to improve infrastructure and connectivity to the area.
Chang said the Group has always looked to adding value in all its developments and improving connectivity to Eco Majestic has been the developer’s main focus from the start.
“All residents in Eco Majestic will be able to enjoy the infrastructure and amenities that we have worked hard to provide and include our Rumah SelangorKu community. Beyond infrastructure and connectivity, we are also enhancing the township by providing a comprehensive range of amenities such as parks, schools, sports facilities and commercial options. In fact, the first batch of shops will be ready in time for the handover of our first homes here in the second half of next year,” he added.
In March 2015, EcoWorld opened the Eco Majestic Red Carpet Bridge that not only makes accessibility into the township easier and more direct, but serves as a warm welcome to residents.
The bridge is part of a new link road from the Semenyih Toll (Exit 2102) that will shorten travelling time considerably for those coming to Eco Majestic, avoiding much of the heavy traffic on Jalan Semenyih. EcoWorld has also spent about RM10 million to date to upgrade the Bandar Tasik Kesuma junction that leads into the township’s East Gate entrance.
The Group is also working hard towards the opening of the dedicated LEKAS-Eco Majestic Interchange which is expected to complete in the second quarter of 2016. This dedicated interchange is about 5km from the current Semenyih Toll (Exit 2012A) and will lead straight into the township’s commercial precinct. This new interchange will reduce travel time from Eco Majestic to Kuala Lumpur to 30 minutes.View All Articles
