Eco Boulevard opens and is home to new Eco Botanic Sales Gallery
JOHOR BAHRU: Eco Botanic has reached another milestone with the opening of its 3-storey shop offices – Eco Boulevard today.
Dato’ Chang Khim Wah, President and CEO of Eco World Development Group Berhad said: “We are very excited to have our commercial component up and running as we have already welcomed our first batch of residents to Eco Botanic end of last year. Now, they will be able to enjoy a wide selection of shops that’s in the vicinity from where they live. We can definitely see the Eco Botanic township coming to life with this addition.”
Eco Botanic’s first homes, which consists of 624 units of cluster and semi-dees was handed over in October 2016.
Eco Boulevard consist of 200 units of 3-storey lifestyle shop offices with elegant English-Colonial inspired architecture designs and is located in the Group’s first completed commercial project in Malaysia – Eco Botanic City. The shop-offices are designed with outdoor retail spaces and first-floor balconies for unique alfresco experiences.
“Eco Boulevard is strategically located and served by world-class infrastructure. It is also connected to the major highways, making it highly accessible and an ideal location for us to set up our new Eco Botanic sales gallery. Its easy accessibility to and from Singapore also expands the catchment area to the island state and we are able to attract foreign buyers at the same time,” added Chang.
Eco Boulevard is also located just next to EduCity, which comprises 7 universities, namely, University of Southampton, Raffles University, Netherlands Maritime Institute of Technology, University of Reading, Multimedia University, MDIS and Newcastle University. EduCity is expected to accommodate approximately 21,750 students by 2020.
Eco Boulevard boasts an optimal retail mix – serving up cuisines from an impressive array of international and local flavours. Aiming to cater to folks of all ages and every flavour palette imaginable, the newest additions lead the way to more diverse and multi-cultural choices for visitors in the future. Patrons will be spoilt for choice, as they enjoy the vast variety of choices that lie ahead of them, and will establish Eco Boulevard as a recurring leisure destination.
Chang said it was not only a memorable day for EcoWorld but also for its tenants who will be kick starting their businesses. To commemorate the auspicious occasion, a Lion Dance, which symbolises power and good fortune was held for all tenants. Chang also wished the new businesses an abundance of success and prosperity.
Representatives from the tenants’ present at the ceremony today were from F&B businesses such as KUU by Tea Garden, Ying Ker Lor, Universal Noodles, Yi Jia Restaurant, Coffee Valley and La Strada Coffee alongside other retailers which include Nichi Eletric and Lenovo Concept Store.
Eco Boulevard will also see more retailers such as Starbucks, Hamid Corner, La Pasta, Guo Ma Restaurant, Wafu Kitchen, Hook Sang Restaurant, Kafe Warisan Nor and Yap Dental, moving in in the coming month.
Apart from Eco Boulevard, Eco Botanic City consists of other components such as Eco Galleria – the high street mall with 645 units of shops scheduled for completion in 2020. A remaining 11.28 acres of land has been reserved for future commercial development.
Not to be missed is the residential component, Eco Nest – a 472-unit Green Mark certified serviced apartments which will be completed by end of 2017. Eco Nest offers units in various built-ups starting from 582 sq ft and prices from RM550,000 as well as duplex units that are 1,238 sq ft and priced at RM1,069,000 onwards.View All Articles
