KUALA LUMPUR: Eco World Development Group Berhad held its first EcoWorld Women’s Summit today featuring a sharing session by women leaders from the government and corporate sector. Hosting three power speakers – Tan Sri Dr Rebecca Fatima Sta Maria, Secretary General, Ministry of International Trade & Industry (MITI); Dato’ Noor Farida Binti Mohd Ariffin, Director of Eco World Development Group Berhad; and Dato’ Kong Sooi Lin, CEO of CIMB Investment Bank Bhd.
The summit marks a continuation of a series of engagement workshops by EcoWorld for its Professional Women’s Network (PWN) which was launched on 8 March in conjunction with International Women’s Day.
PWN includes all EcoWorld female employees and features a series of structured learning events to empower and help women realise their full potential on the professional front.
Chairman of Eco World Development Group Berhad Tan Sri Liew Kee Sin said the Group was delighted to welcome three renowned women to the summit who shared from the heart.

The summit welcomed over 150 guests as well as staff of EcoWorld who gathered to listen to the three women leaders sharing their life and career experiences in the corporate world and was also streamed live via YouTube.
