EcoWorld & Sin Chew ushers in the New Year with a collaborative CNY campaign – ‘Bridging Hearts With Love’

Kuala Lumpur: In celebration of Chinese New Year (CNY) this year, Eco World Development Group Berhad (EcoWorld Malaysia) and Sin Chew Media Corporation Berhad (Sin Chew), have joined forces for a collaboration to organise the ‘Bridging Hearts with Love’ campaign.

The theme stresses on the importance on cherishing your loved ones and never forgetting to show them your care despite our busy schedules and how these can be translated through simple gestures and intent of giving from the heart.

The month-long campaign will run from 1st February to 2nd March with an array of activities to celebrate the festivities. The highlight of the campaign is the heart-warming three-part CNY greeting video with a strong message on family love and care, co-produced and starred by talents from both organisations. The videos will be released weekly on EcoWorld Malaysia and Sin Chew’s official social media sites, starting from 3rd February.

At the launch of the campaign held at Bukit Bintang City Centre Sales Gallery in Kuala Lumpur, Eco World Malaysia Chairman Tan Sri Liew Kee Sin said in his speech that the Group was delighted to be collaborating with Sin Chew for this meaningful campaign, “This exciting collaboration between two established brands carries a simple yet powerful message in its theme Xin Xian Xin Yi. This Chinese New Year we should remember to cherish family bonds and let our actions speak louder than words. Treasure simple gestures that come from the heart for these are the foundations of a happy family.”

Media Chinese International Ltd Executive Director & Group Chief Executive Officer Francis Tiong Kiew Chiong said that Sin Chew has religiously organised CNY campaigns over the years and is excited to have it in a bigger scale this year. “The components of this campaign have been meticulously crafted with the inputs from both companies, which are from different industries.”

Another highlight is the Feast of Prosperity, a festive 8-course banquet serving authentic Chinese New Year dishes from various clans, which will be held at Eco Grandeur at Puncak Alam on 3rd March. Diners will be treated to not only good food but with a colourful performance featuring a spectacular line-up of talented local artists. There will be a traditional food market with signature Lion & Dragon dances alongside other traditional cultural activities such as the Paper Cutting Art workshop and Calligraphy workshop with a special CNY-themed Origami workshop as well.

There will also be an online photography contest, where participants have to upload a photograph on either Facebook or Instagram which depicts the theme ‘Bridging Hearts with Love’ along with a meaningful caption as well as the following hashtags #EcoWorld #SinChewDaily and #bridgingheartswithlove.
